LOGANBERRY Thornless originating in California in 1885, the Loganberry is thought to be a  cross between a California native blackberry and a red raspberry. The berries are long, large,  red and highly flavored. The Loganberry is often used for pies, juice and wine. Not as widely grown commercially as it once was. There is high demand for it in the home garden due to its desirable flavor. Thorny TRAILING canes require trellising. Good yields. Hardiness is similar to Boysenberry Thornless. Zone 5-9. But some of our customers grow it successfully in Minnesota, zone 4. 1 gal. Size.
