Hull Thornless was released in Illinois in 1981. ( SIUS47 x Thornfree ).The plants produce fruit in mid-to late season after Black Satin. Berries are  very large and firm, sweet and they hold color under high temperatures. They are SWEETER than most other thornless varieties and very delicious. Yields about twice as much as most thorned cultivars. Canes are SEMI-ERECT and moderatlely hardy. 4 inch Size.
