Nova (Southland x Boyne ), released from Nova Scotia, Canada.1980. Mid season cultivar. Floricane, vigorous, upright plants are medium height and nearly thornless with long, fruiting laterals. Bright red fruit is medium-sized, firm.  Long shelf life for berries. The plants are very hardy, one of the hardiest varieties, and appear to resist most common cane diseases, including rust.
