Tulameen is the standard variety for the fresh market throughout the world. Very popular! It has  an excellent, non-traditional raspberry flavor. Because of the large fruit size, it can be difficult to machine harvest. It was Introduced in 1989 in British Columbia ( Nootka x Glen Prosen) . Fruit is  long conic, medium red, glossy, firm. Late season variety. Starts to ripen fast but it has a longer season that overlaps with early primocane-fruiting cultivars. Longest fruiting season of all summer varieties (50 days).
