Blueberry Plants and Bushes

Berries Unlimited only provides tissue cultured and virus indexed plants, and that ensures the health of the plant and our customer's success and to get the most yield possible. Our plants are 2, 3 to 4 + years old ready for planting. Blueberry bushes are comparatively long-lived plants. On the average, they can produce at peak yields for many years. Most bushes will live for more then 50 years, as long as they are properly maintained. Blueberry bushes have a profusion of white/pink blossoms in late spring, leaves which are glossy green, blue-green in summer and outstanding colored foliage in autumn. Besides fruit production, they are beautiful ornamental and are used in a variety of landscapes. Blueberries make great hedges! And Tea made from blueberry leaves ( tops, picked BEFORE bearing season) is healthy and delicious! For larger berries and higher yields it is better to have  2-3 varieties.

There is a lot of confusion Nothern varieties vs Southern varieties. For example Duke is considered a northern blueberry but the number one blueberry planted in North Carolina is Duke! It is important to know Your hardiness zone.
We have" Shop Blueberries By Hardiness Zone" button to make ordering for Your Zone easier.

This year some varieties are limited so,please, place Your Order for fall shipment as soon as possible. Do not forget that blackberries and black/rasp hybrids do extremely well in the Southern part of the country: zone 6 through 9.

NOTE, please : Our fall selection of blueberies 2011, 4 inch Size, will be ready to ship any time after September 15th 2011. Please, indicate on your order when you want your plants shipped. We do not sell bare root plants. With blueberries You get pine  mulch  FREE,  which is enough to put it around 6 plants (2 ft circles). This fall we are offering our super saver packages which are 2 yo plants in groups of 6 in addition to a great selection of 3 yo plants in 1 gal. containers. The new Sweetheart Blueberry is now available starting September 15th! This new USDA blueberry is considered the best new plant released in recent years. Large berries, early fruitting, great taste not to mention TWO CROPS. The plant has been tasted in Mississippi and as far North as New York. Don't miss out BerriesUnlimited is the larger producer of Sweetheart Bluebery in the country. Orders received between July 25th 2011 and September 15th 2011 will not be shipped untill after September 15th. Orders can not be split-shipped: another words, all of our blackbery varieties are available NOW, but we'll not ship you twice unless You order two separate shipments.
