Jewel is a very popular  PP variety released in Florida in 1998. Berries are sweet . very delicious ( one of the best between Southern bushes) and flavored. It is very early  ( mid April-May in Northern Florida) - mid ripening , (depends on where) and high quality berry: excellent stem scar and firmness. Very productive. Chilling requirement of about 250 hours but it grows nicely in Arkansas, zone 7, got through two winters in 1 gal and 3 gal. pots. For cross pollination is good to use Emerald. 1 gal. Size. Very large plants. Chillling hours: about 250.
