All our blueberries are grown in the lab, they are tissue cultured, virus indexed plants!
Our blueberries are produced in four different sizes:
3.5 inch pots 18 per flat, 1 gal, 2 gal. We are discontinuing 3 gal production due to freight cost and 2 gal sizes are about the same as 3 gal 4 yo + plants.
Our minimum orders are:
4 flats of 18-s 1-4 varieties, 1 gal minimum order 100 plants 10 minimum per variety, 2 gal minimum order 50 plants 10 per variety
6 to 9 month lead time on 3.5 inch, 1 or 2 gal depends on inventory levels at the time of ordering. It is important that You understand the difference of blueberries grown in different parts of the USA.
Michigan growers and Oregon growers are handy caped by their climate, cost of freight and cost of production. Generally speaking a plant growing in our area is much larger due to our longer growing season and warmer soil temperatures through out the year.
Blackberries, Blackberry-Raspberry Hybrids
All our blackberries and Blackberry-Raspberry Hybrids are tissue cultured plants!
We have found that 72 cell size is too small for direct field planting. In addition blackberries require more light to grow and develop for which 72-s are not suitable in our opinion. There is no cost difference You just get a better performing plant. We produce blackberries in 3.5 inch and 1 gal. Minimum orders are the same as blueberries as well as lead time.
On blackberries royalties You will be billed separately. Royalty range from 15 cents to 30 cents per plant depending on variety.
Boxing and freight.
We do not charge a boxing charge since it is included in our freight charges which are 17.50% of Your order.
Terms and condition.
In order to protect our customers , we need that You provide evidence that You are involved in the nursery business, that You have an established business location, and that we may keep Your state tax exemption papers on file.
We accept orders on condition that they may be voided or delayed without liability to Berriesunlimited due to the delay or failure to deliver caused by crop failure, inclement weather, errors in count, or other causes beyond our control. All orders accepted are subject to availability of stock at time of delivery.
We warrant our nursery stock to be true to description or variety under the name in which it is sold. We shall in no cause be liable for any sum greater than the amount originally received for said nursery stock, less shipping costs.
Credit policies and Payment.
We require prepayment status for 1 year. We will be pleased to consider credit arrangements with established firms upon completion of approved credit application.
Most growers in the fruit industry require a 25% to 50% deposit with the order. In fact, some tree growers require deposits two years before they deliver. Our terms are a little different. First of all You do not lose Your deposit. In fact, If You cancelled Your order after 6 months Berriesunlimited will pay You a 6 % or a 1% per month cancellation fee since we have been paid to grow the plant and can sell the plant for considerable more money than You paid. We feel the taking a growers money in advance and then charging him or her a cancellation fee is not acceptable. We will not hold our growers hostage for circumstances they may or may not control.
Limitations of Remedies.
In no case shall Berriesunlimited be liable for any special, incidental or consequential damages, including, but not limited to, damages such as lost profits, loss of use of the plants, cost of lost fruit or injury to any other property including claims arising from latent defects in purchased items. Under no circumstance shall Berriesunlimited be liable for any amount greater than the original purchase price.
