6 Pack Junebearing plants. Honeoye (Vibrant x Holiday) strawberry plant is from the Cornell Research Station, Geneva, NY, and has been a top variety for over 30 years. It combines winter hardiness, high productivity, good appearance and color, together with an excellent, firm, large-sized berry. The large berries are easy to pick, and produce high yields over a long fruiting season, making it our most consistent berry producer. Home gardeners will also appreciate its excellent freezing quality. Optimum flavor is produced by growing this variety in medium to light soil. Fantastic
Let me preface this by saying I have tried for years to no avail to start strawberries from seed myself, so I broke down and did a google search, picked a random US company, read some reviews and bought 6. When they arrived they were not only a week ahead of time but they were boxed and shipped in PERFECT condition. Now I prob jumped the gun in ordering so soon since we are still in the low 30s at night but I made up some soil mix and transplanted them the day after receiving . 4 days later and EVERY SINGLE one has new growth already! I would HIGHLY recommend!
