Aronia "Viking" is a very popular variety. Nice clusters give you beautiful white fragrant flowers in the spring, dark, LARGE, black berries looking very showy late summer and thin skin let you use this fruit for fresh eating which is impossible for any other variety. This berry is a good healthy source for jam, jelly, juice and liquor. Nice for landscaping. Tissue cultured plants, fast growing. With blooms! Tall bushes when mature. 6-8 ft tall. Zone 3-8.     I purchased four aronia bushes last year and every single one is supple and putting out new shoots and buds in spite of the horrible weather. They are doing great!
