Early Glow Strawberry
Any strawberry that can survive a late freeze and frost and still looks good deserves a five star rating. I didn't manage to get my new strawberries covered because of a row cover shortage in my linen closet, so I am really surprised that my new plants weren't hurt by the brutal weather. Plants were starting to bloom, and some of the flowers had black centers after the freeze, but the plants look great and are still putting on new blooms. These plants had good root systems or they wouldn't have survived in such good shape.
Berries Unlimited does a great job and sends me only strong and healthy plants. I was afraid to look at my strawberry beds after the freeze, but they look great!
Thank you.
