Description
‘Brown Turkey’ is a large-fruited variety, best suited for fresh use. It has bronze skin, and red flesh, and may be slightly hardier than most of the other varieties. May produce a large 2nd crop. Is somewhat dwarfing. The large leaves give this plant a tropical feel; if left unpruned, it can be a very bold statement. Prefers full sun and well-drained soil, but will tolerate less of either. Pollinator-friendly. Relatively wildlife resistant. 20'H x 20'W.
