Mother of Millions (Kalanchoe subgenus Bryophyllum delagoensis), also known as the chandelier plant, is a hardy, fast-growing succulent from Madagascar. It produces lots of plantlets on the leaf margin, these eventually drop off and root. Plants have Salmon color bell shaped flowers hanging on long stems.
It is used in traditional medicine primarily for its anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and wound-healing properties. Topically, the leaves are applied as a poultice to treat skin infections, burns, abscesses, and pain. Internal uses, often in small, controlled amounts, include managing respiratory issues, hypertension, and digestive issue.
