About Our Southern Highbush Blueberry Plants and Bushes

Berries Unlimited only provides tissue cultured and virus indexed plants, and that ensures the health of the plant and our customer's success and to get the most yield possible. This year some varieties are limited so, please, place Your Order for fall shipment as soon as possible. Please, do not forget that blackberries and black/rasp hybrids do extremely well in the Southern part of the country too!! : zone 6 through 9.

NOTE please : Please, do not use cedar or any acidic or coloured mulch, do not apply any  mulch until the plants are established! Keep 2 ft circle mulch free for a while. Start with 2 inches high.  The new Sweetheart Blueberry is now available ! This new USDA blueberry is considered the best new plant released in recent years. Large berries, early fruiting, great taste not to mention TWO CROPS. The plant has been tasted in Mississippi and as far North as Minnesota. Don't miss out!

Rabbiteye varieties do need a pollinator. 

Our plants are very healthy, virus/diseases indexed and they will give lots of new growth this summer, being tissue cultured! Please, watch late frost for possible damages! Cover your plants with special white material to protect them nicely.Do not leave your plants on their own. while they are not established they can be damaged.
